This contribution calculator is designed to give you guidance about the contribution rate that you will be paying to the new LGPS from 1 April 2009 and requires you to input your annual "full time equivalent" pay plus any contractual allowances. Please note that under LGPS 2009 there will be no flat 5% contribution rate for manual workers.

If you are a part-time employee, remember to enter the pay as full-time employee in the same post. For example, if you work 18.5 hours in a job and get paid £15000 but a full-time employee works 37 hours and gets paid £30000, enter £30000 as your pay.
