Possible Demutulisation
The AVC scheme operated by Aberdeen City Council, of which there are currently approximately 400 members, is a Group Scheme with the Council being the policyholder. In the event that Standard Life decide to demutulise then any possible windfall, which would be on the same basis as a payment to an individual customer, would be payable to the policyholder, Aberdeen City Council.
If Standard Life decide to demutulise the Council will, at that time, make a decision on any possible windfall.
