PROPOSED CHANGES
Last year the Pensions Section carried out Presentations to inform scheme members of the proposed changes.
The Scottish Public Pensions Agency did not go ahead with these changes but as you may have heard either from your Trade Union or the Media these changes are to be implemented as from 1 October.
In addition, changes will be made because of the Inland Revenue Simplification Regulations and it would appear that these changes may be implemented in two stages in Scotland.
The Pensions Section will again hold Presentations to explain the changes to scheme members.
