About the Pensions Section

Aberdeen City Council, as the administering authority, are responsible for the administration of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). As well as the LGPS the Pensions Section administer Fire and Police pensions on behalf of Grampian Fire and Rescue Service and Grampian Police.

The Pensions Section of Aberdeen City Council is located on the second floor of the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, Balgownie One, Conference Way, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.

Administration
Axis Pensions Software provides member processing, imaging, call management, document and task management. Pensions administration is carried out by the following members of staff:
