Police Pensions
Aberdeen City Council Pension Fund administers the 1987 Police Pension Scheme (PPS) and the 2006 New Police Pension Scheme (NPPS) on behalf of Grampian Police. The arrangements under the PPS and NPPS offer a range of benefits, providing financial security both in the time up to retirement and beyond.
Please note, ACCPF only administers these Schemes for officers who serve(d) in Grampian Police or its former force of Aberdeen City Police and SNECC - if you are or have belonged to any other UK force then you should contact them directly for further information.
Benefit Statements
Benefit Statements will be issued annually to PPS and NPPS members. The annual Newsletter is available in the Police Library and on request from the Pensions Section.
Increase Your Benefits
How to Increase your Pension Benefits.
Pensions Increase
In order to ensure that your pension keeps pace with the cost of living, your pension is increased annually from the first Monday after 6 April. The rate of increase is set by the Government and is based on the rise in the Retail Price Index for the year to the previous September.
